The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s American Democracy Project presents Campus Conversations, an opportunity to discuss real issues, have real dialogue and foster real change.

Campus Conversations will be held from 6:30 until 8 p.m. March 7 at Reeve Memorial Union, room 202.

From event organizers: “Do you ever find yourself wishing for more real conversations about important issues? Do you ever feel like you want to make a change in your community, but you aren’t sure where to start? Join us for an evening of round table conversations about ethics, politics, voting and strategies for citizen engagement.”

The mission of American Democracy Project is to encourage civic engagement and awareness among college students. On the UW Oshkosh campus, American Democracy Project runs voter registration drives, organizes candidate forums, sponsors speakers, encourages volunteerism and offers forms of engagement and service learning. The group is focused on higher education’s role in preparing the next generation to be informed, engaged citizens.
