Three University of Wisconsin Oshkosh faculty members will facilitate a conversation with fine art photographer Kirsty Mitchell whose stunning “Wonderland” exhibit runs through Oct. 15 at the Paine Art Center and Gardens.

The public program, set for 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in Room 1214 in Sage Hall, will involve a question-and-answer session with Kathleen Donnelly, professor and costume designer; Christine Roth, English literature professor; and Allison Welch, photography professor. Free parking is available in Lots 7 and 13.

Audience members also will have the opportunity to ask questions of Mitchell, who is an award-winning photographer from Surrey, England.

For the past six years, Mitchell has worked on a deeply personal photographic series dedicated to her mother, Maureen, who passed away from a brain tumor in 2008. She began the project as an escape from reality and a way of coming to terms with her grief.

The Paine is the first American museum to exhibit “Wonderland.”
