University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Constitution Day activities will include discussion on the Free Speech Act by Representatives Michael Schraa and Gordon Hintz.

Schraa and Hintz will speak from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in Reeve Memorial Union Ballroom, Room 227AB1.

Schraa is an executive board member of the Winnebago County Republican Party, an associate member of the WinnebagoCRW, member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)  and Wisconsin Independent Businesses (WIB), and is a member of the NRA. Hintz was re-elected to his sixth term in the State Assembly for the 2017-2019 legislative session. He was appointed as ranking member to the legislature’s budget committee, the Joint Committee on Finance.

Besides the Schraa and Hintz presentation Sept. 18 at UW Oshkosh, information on the U.S. Constitution will be on display and available for pickup 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Reeve Concourse.

The event is sponsored by the UW Oshkosh American Democracy Project in honor of Constitution Day.
