University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students will hold a vigil in response to last week’s tragic shooting at Northern Illinois University at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in the concourse area of Reeve Memorial Union. The vigil will include a brief program followed by the ringing of a bell for each of the victims. Ribbons in the NIU colors – cardinal red and black – will be given out to show support.

A banner in the concourse of Reeve Union is currently on display for students, faculty and staff to write notes of support to the NIU community. The banner will be available through Friday, Feb. 22 and then will be sent to the Northern Illinois University Student Union to be displayed.
