DonorThank a Donor Day will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the Reeve Union concourse outside of the Corner Convenience store.

“The purpose of the event is to create a culture of philanthropy and awareness among the greater campus community,” said Christine Gantner, alumni relations and annual giving director. “There are so many UWO alumni and friends who make annual donations to help support UWO students and the University, and this is an opportunity to personally thank them.”

Students, staff and faculty are invited to write a note on a pre-addressed postcard thanking the 2016 UW Oshkosh Fund donors. A free cup of coffee or hot chocolate will be offered to all who participate in Thank A Donor Day.

“The UWO Fund provides money for scholarships, employment opportunities and areas of greatest need,” said Annual Giving Director Matt Kelliher.

The UWO Fund also helps support tutoring and the Safewalk Program.
