Brett Kasper, UW-Oshkosh Titans football quarterback, donated bone marrow in February 2015 after beginning the process to become a donor through the Be The Match organization the previous fall.

“I got a call from the organization telling me the great news that I was a perfect match,” Kasper said. “Let’s just say I was pretty happy. Very quickly, it became clear that with this, I could save a life.”

UW Oshkosh will be hosting a Be The Match drive on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Reeve Memorial Union and Sage Hall lobbies, respectively.

Kasper recently learned that his bone marrow was donated to Phoenix Bridegroom, a young girl battling cancer in Chesterton, Indiana.
