The bi-annual GradSchool Fest is set for Thursday, April 21 from 4:30 until 6 p.m. in the Reeve Memorial Union ballroom.

GradSchool Fest is open to the community and current UW Oshkosh students interested in pursuing a graduate degree or certificate program.

“Right now on campus GradSchool Fest is the only event at which all graduate programs are brought together in one place and time so undergraduate students can check out graduate school options,” said Greg Wypiszynski, director of graduate services.

The event allows attendees to explore UW Oshkosh graduate program options, get tips for preparing for grad school, learn about admissions criteria, financial aid and ask questions of current program faculty, staff and graduate students.

“After about five years of hosting GradSchool Fest we’ve found that a certain number of students who attend the event eventually go here to grad school,” Wypiszynski said. “They say part of the reason they came here is because they went to GradSchool Fest.”

Free parking will be available in lot No.15, which is located on Algoma Blvd. next to Blackhawk Commons. Refreshments will also be available at the open house-style event.
