Key stakeholders in UW Oshkosh’s Student Success Collaborative underwent training on the new data and case management tool last month.

SSC is being implemented at UWO through the Education Advisory Board to increase student retention and help students meet their goals as they advance to graduation. SSC provides faculty, academic and student support offices an opportunity to integrate their work to the benefit of students.

Members of EAB provided in-depth training Feb. 24 to the UWO Specialist Team. Members of the Specialist Team will train the rest of the campus community on SSC.

The training included Phase 1 elements of SSC Advising Management, including a calendar module that syncs with Google calendar and Outlook, a messaging system that allows targeted campaigns to students and case management tools.

Professional advisers will begin training later this spring and will start using the advising functions in late spring/early summer. Once training is complete, SSC will be used throughout campus by faculty, staff and students to improve student success.
