Dr. John “Jack” L. Kaspar, who during his time at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh taught in the biology department, passed away Dec. 18.

From Kaspar’s obituary: “He earned a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and PhD. in biology at the University Wisconsin-Madison. He later went on to become a biology professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for more than 30 years. He was an avid bird watcher and spider collector.”

Services for Kaspar will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at Konrad-Behlman, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
