If you like macaroni and cheese, give this recipe a try! This quick and easy recipe entails just a few ingredients and one appliance just about everyone owns–a microwave.
You’ll need just a few things to get started:
a large mug
a liquid measuring cup
a 1/3 cup measuring cup
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup of water
Follow these easy-to-follow steps and be prepared to indulge in a deliciously cheesy snack in between those study breaks:
Put 1/3 cup of elbow noodles into your mug. Add the 1/2 cup of water to it. Microwave this mixture until the water has evaporated. The recommended time is 4 minutes, but depending on that watts of your microwave it may be shorter or longer. Microwave it for 2 minutes to start, then stir. Then another minute, stir again. Then a final minute, and the water should be absorbed. If not, microwave it a bit longer until the water is evaporated.
Stir in your milk and cheese, and microwave for a final 30-60 seconds. Stir very well to blend everything together into a creamy treat. Add a bit of seasoning and enjoy!
