The WITonCampus student organization, which provides support and insight into technology, will host its first meeting Monday, Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Sage Hall, room 4234.
“The club will help you grow as a strong, confident woman in a male dominated field through bonding activities, group discussion, speakers and company tours,” Monika Heninger, WITOnCampus president, said. “WITonCampus can help you professionally and socially by connecting with women in your field of study.”
WITonCampus formed at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with support from WIT in Wisconsin, a group of professional women in the Fox Valley.
“Every member within WITonCampus is eligible for a leadership opportunity, which can help build your resume and develop leadership skills,” Heninger said.
