University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s move-in days are quickly approaching.

The majority of students will move into the UW Oshkosh residence halls Sunday, Sept. 6 and Monday, Sept. 7. Volunteer referees are needed to help make sure the days go smoothly.

Referees are faculty, staff or alumni who assist in our residence hall unloading zones. Referees have a great deal of contacts with students and families as they greet them as they enter the unloading zone, direct the MiTitans (Move-In Titans; student volunteers) in unloading the vehicle, provide instruction on where to park, and generally welcome students and families to campus.

Shifts are 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shifts can be broken up into shorter segments if needed. A one hour referee training will be held the week of Aug. 24.

For more information or to get involved, contact Liz Morrell (morrelle@uwosh.edu) before Aug. 21.
