Check out stories from four students — one from each University of Wisconsin Oshkosh college — who landed jobs within their field of study before their May 16 graduation.

These four students are among nearly 1,400 other undergraduate candidates who will become graduates at the 141st spring commencement.

The ceremonies will be held at Kolf Sports Center, 785 High Ave. Two ceremonies will be held—the 9 a.m. ceremony will include the College of Letters and Science and the Division of Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement; the 2 p.m. ceremony will include the College of Business, College of Education and Human Services and the College of Nursing.

Jenna Kohout, a nursing major in the College of Nursing, was hired by St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, prior to her May 16 graduation from UW Oshkosh.

Dan Stammer, a communication studies major in the College of Letters and Science, was hired by Target. He started his job with the company before even walking across the stage at UW Oshkosh’s spring commencement ceremony.

Kirsten Fohrman, a marketing major in the College of Business, was hired into her role as a project manager at Epic Systems Corp. Fohrman is excited for the opportunity.
