“The American Nurse” documentary explores the role of nursing in the most vulnerable moments of the human experience. This film gives a voice to nurses who are on the front lines of the biggest issues facing America—poverty, again, war and justice. The film has received accolades from the White House, the American Journal of Nurses and national media, such as PBS News Hour, The New York Times and USA Today.
