The Alumni Welcome and Conference Center (AWCC) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will celebrate its first year of operations with an Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 17.

The first year has been a whirlwind of events in the new building with campus forums, corporate conferences, board meetings, alumni reunions, weddings, community gatherings and more.

At the Open House, visitors can enjoy tours of the building and light refreshments. The campus community can learn how to make the most of the facility at a special presentation at 2 p.m. AWCC Director Laura Rommelfanger ’08 and ’12, will speak about AWCC 101: An Introduction to Event Planning.
