Chancellor Andrew Leavitt, the 11th chancellor of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, is on Facebook and Twitter.

“The best ideas come from faculty, students and staff,” Leavitt said. “I am dedicating my first 100 days at UW Oshkosh to meeting with as many UW Oshkosh leaders, community members and partners as I can to learn more about our various UW Oshkosh programs, services and partnerships.”

Leavitt is dedicating his first 100 days as chancellor to getting to know UW Oshkosh, and invites the UW Oshkosh community to continue the conversation on the UW Oshkosh Chancellor Facebook and Twitter accounts and by using the #uwochancellor hashtag.

“I want to get to know our UW Oshkosh community and for the UW Oshkosh community to be able to get to know me,” Leavitt said. “Please connect with me on Twitter and Facebook, share your goals for the University and help me get to know each one of you.”

For Leavitt, social media is not only a way to keep informed with what’s happening at UW Oshkosh, but it’s also a way to foster discussion.

“By sharing your ideas on social media, you not only give me the opportunity to learn more about UW Oshkosh, but you also give our community the opportunity to interact with each other, share ideas and continue the discussion,” Leavitt said.
