The bi-annual GradSchool Fest is returning to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Wednesday, Nov. 19. and is a chance for those interested to learn more about graduate school offerings at UWO.

The event will be held in Reeve Union room 202 from 4:30 until 6 p.m.

GradSchool Fest provides information and support for students looking to continue their education through a master’s or doctoral degree. Those who attend will be able to explore their options with current faculty and student support services. The information available at the event will be vital for students wondering about admissions criteria, financial aid or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).

The event is really open to anyone who might have an interest in UW Oshkosh graduate school programming–not just students.

“It’s important to know that anyone can and should attend,” Amanda Dornfeld, a student coordinator for GradSchool Fest, said. “Now is the time to consider all options for graduate school, no matter where a person is in their educational path.”

Graduate degrees can be an important step in enriching one’s personal life and career, said Dornfield, who is pursing a master’s degree herself. Students with graduate degrees have more success in the job market as well as a higher earning potential.

Free parking will be provided in lot No.15 which is located on Algoma Blvd. next to Blackhawk Commons. Beverages and snacks will also be available at the open house style event.
