WRST-FM at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will air a two-hour special discussing the recent events in Ferguson, MO.  The program “Ferguson and Beyond: A Community Conversation” will air Saturday, September 6 at 4 p.m.  It can be heard in the Oshkosh area on 90.3 FM and worldwide at www.wrst.org.

The recent shooting death of Michael Brown by police in the St. Louis suburb sparked renewed national discussions about racial tensions, police actions and more. NPR’s Michel Martin moderates this serious conversation with community leaders and includes participation by members of the audience.

This special was produced by St. Louis Public Radio and made available to WRST through its membership in the Public Radio Exchange.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
