The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents’ August meetings will be held at the UW Oshkosh Alumni Welcome and Conference Center, 625 Pearl St., on Thursday, Aug. 21 and Friday, Aug. 22.

Live streaming is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 21, 1:15 – 4:00 p.m. and Friday, August 22, 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
In addition to its full slate of business items, including review and consideration of the 2015-17 UW System Biennial Budget, UW Oshkosh administrators, faculty, staff, students and partners will offer a number of presentations covering institutional initiatives and strides. The presentations will be woven into the Board of Regents’ four Thursday morning committee meetings and its main sessions on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

The Board of Regents will recognize Chancellor Wells on Friday, Aug. 22 for his 14 years of service as Chancellor of UW Oshkosh.
Wells will officially retire as the University’s 10th Chancellor on Aug. 31. The search for the 11th Chancellor is well underway, and the search-and-screen committee expects to, as anticipated, determine and reveal finalist candidates in September.
UW Oshkosh last hosted a UW System Board of Regents’ monthly meeting in fall 2010.
