Leigha Moll, finance assistant/assistant desk manager for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Oshkosh Gruenhagen Conference Center, has been named the recipient of the April STAR Award.

She was nominated by Marc Nylen, director of the Gruenhagen Conference Center.

Portions of Moll’s nomination follow:

“Leigha Moll has provided exceptional service to all students, staff and other guests who use the resources of Gruenhagen Conference Center (GCC) on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus.  Leigha has demonstrated great skill and a real sense of customer service in looking after the contract needs of our Fox Valley Technical College students who reside in GCC and study at one of three FVTC campuses in the Fox Valley. Leigha is seen as a professional point of contact and as an excellent resource for the students and family members with whom we have a contract relationship, as well as the FVTC staff from the Oshkosh Riverside and Spanbauer campuses, and the main campus in Appleton, Wisconsin. She has developed an excellent, ongoing relationship with our FVTC students and staff and has done an exceptional job in promoting this important campus to campus partnership through email correspondence; written promotions and marketing materials; as well as in-person tours which she has lead on behalf of GCC. She is very skilled and passionate and GCC is very fortunate to have Leigha Moll as a member of our staff team.

“Additionally, Leigha assists with the oversight of the EAA AirVenture Guest Lodging Program, which is coordinated by Gruenhagen Conference Center. She approaches this role with a sense of purpose and meaning and seeks to hire student and LTE staff members for the EAA AirVenture Guest Lodging Program who are able and willing to be excellent ambassadors of our conference center and the entire UW Oshkosh community.”
