University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seniors planning to graduate at the end of the fall 2013 semester are invited to a free lunch on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the historic Pollock House.
Sponsored by the UW Oshkosh Alumni Association and University Books & More, the Almost Alumni Lunch introduces the University’s newest graduates to the Alumni Relations Office and the benefits and services for which they are eligible, including a free email account, job search tools and discounts at the bookstore as well as local venues.
“With every semester, we are honored to welcome UW Oshkosh’s newest grads into our alumni family and to celebrate their academic successes,” said Alumni Relations Director Christine Gantner.
The lunch takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pollock, located across the street from Albee Hall. Students can stop by and enjoy a quick sandwich and dessert. They are invited to register to win alumni gear or a diploma frame from University Books & More.
Alumni TitanCards will be offered at a special rate of $5 each (a $10 value) for new graduates. Two fun options are available to share your Titan pride where ever life leads after graduation.
Those who preregister by Friday, Nov. 29 will receive a free gift when they arrive at the lunch. Or, students are welcome to just drop by on the day of the event as their schedules allow.
