In cooperation with the Campus Sustainability Council and the Office of Sustainability, Vice Chancellor for Administration Tom Sonnleitner and Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Lane Earns  invite all members of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus community to attend a sustainability open forum Oct. 17.

Participants will have the opportunity to propose and/or respond to goals and objectives that will be incorporated into the new Campus Sustainability Plan.

UW Oshkosh wrote its first Sustainability Plan in 2008. The forum will consider a wide range of campus sustainability themes that cut across operations, student life, personnel, the curriculum, research and outreach, and touch on issues from climate change, to transforming the campus into a living, learning laboratory.

The forum will be held Thursday Oct 17 from 2:30-3:30 in the Reeve Union Theatre to help make UW Oshkosh the greenest campus that it can be.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
