The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Women’s Center in partnership with the campus Counseling Center, University Police and other partners will host a Sept. 18 “Campus Safety Panel” focusing on TitanAlerts, Safe Walks and other safety resources and programs.

The panel was developed after recent attempted assaults on and near the campus. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held Wed., September 18th, at 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Reeve Memorial Union, Ballroom A.

Guests will learn more about UW Oshkosh’s tools and multifaceted efforts to promote a safe, inclusive campus environment and combat rape culture.
Panelists include: Shelly Maxwell of the Counseling Center and CARE Advisor; Geneva Murray, director of the Women’s Center; Dean of Students Sharon Kipetz; University Police Chief Joe LeMire; and Liz Cannon, director of the UW Oshkosh LGBTQ Resource Center.
