No question about it: Sept. 4, 2013 is an historic day at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

As classes begin for the 2013-14 academic year, the state’s third-largest institution is launching the new University Studies Program (USP), a transformation of general education that, several years in the making, is ready to go.

The USP has garnered attention and praise from higher education leaders and other colleges and universities around the United States.
