The state’s premier senior players from the 2012 high school football season showcase their talents when the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh hosts the 37th Annual Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All-Star Classic Saturday, July 20 at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

This is the 32nd time the WFCA All-Star Class is being held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin’s Event City.

Action begins at noon when the North and South teams from Division 4-7 meet. The North and South squads from Division 1-3 compete in the second game at 5 p.m.

All four teams began practicing Sunday, July 14, with the North squads honing their skills at UW Oshkosh and the South teams working out at UW-Whitewater.

Future UW Oshkosh players in that game are running back Beau Ash of Waupaca, defensive lineman Ryan Fay of Wausau West, quarterback Brett Kasper of Two Rivers, linebacker Kyle Koepsel of Oak Creek and receiver Sam Mentkowski of Whitnall. Koepsel was named to the Associated Press All-State Second Team in 2012.

UW Oshkosh recruits playing in the Division 4-7 game are offensive lineman Reed Ambrosius of Freedom and quarterback Dylan Hecker of Winneconne.
