In honor of the 50th anniversary of their graduation, more than a dozen University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni from the Class of 1963 led the procession at the May 11 afternoon commencement ceremony.
A luncheon was also held on campus to celebrate the Golden Titans.
Throughout the day, many old friendships were renewed as campus memories were relived, said Christine Gantner, UW Oshkosh alumni director.
Gantner said many of the alums said leading the 2013 graduates into Kolf Sports Center was a “highly emotional experience.”
