University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students will get a “Taste of the Big Apple,” with food, giveaways, a tarot card reader, lawn games, tie dye, Wii tournament, crafts, caricature artists and more at the 2010 Bye Gosh Fest.

UW Oshkosh’s Reeve Union Board will hold its annual, end-of-the-year celebration from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, on grounds outside of Clemans Hall. Local bands will provide entertainment, starting with the Seth Boyte Band at 4 p.m., followed by Groovitational Pull at 5 p.m. and The Midwestern Charm at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., Project Dynamite will perform an extreme juggling and comedy act.

All activities at Bye Gosh Fest are free to UWO students, staff and faculty. Food will include hamburgers, hot dogs, gyros, walking tacos and plenty of sides. Blackhawk Commons will close at 2 p.m., and meal plans will be accepted at Bye Gosh Fest; otherwise, the meal costs $7.
