Soon-to-be graduates of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh are invited to an “Almost Alumni” Lunch Tuesday, May 4, at Pollock Alumni House.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., students who will take part in the May 15 commencement ceremonies can stop by Pollock, located across from Albee Hall, to grab a free lunch, tour the historic house and meet alumni staff members.
“Our first ‘Almost Alumni’ Lunch, sponsored by the UW Oshkosh Alumni Association, is aimed at honoring our newest alumni and showcasing the many benefits and services for which they are eligible,” UWO Alumni Director Christine Gantner said. “We also want them to see that we have a place, staff and alumni volunteers dedicated to helping them maintain a lifelong connection to their alma mater.”
UWO alumni are eligible for a free alumni e-mail account and alumni career services. Additional benefits include travel programs, discounted tickets to campus events, special free days at local attractions and a monthly electronic alumni newsletter.
