Non-profit organizations often have limited financial resources for promoting themselves.
On April 17, the Early Bird Social Media Breakfast will focus on nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit groups will discuss how they maximize volunteer recruiting, donations and awareness through social media outlets for free or very limited cost.
Natalie Johnson, alumni communications manager for the  UW Oshkosh Alumini Association will share her experiences on the panel along with representatives from the Fond du Lac Humane Society and the Fond du Lac Convention and Visitors Bureau. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Early Bird Social Media Breakfasts and Night Owl Tweetups are programs, open to the public, put on for professionals to meet several times throughout the year trading locations between Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. The objectives are to develop a networking group that supports and encourages social media on all levels.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
