The following academic staff members have received support through the Faculty Development Program.

Academic Staff Component:

  • Mary Seaman (McNair) will attend the Council for Opportunity in Education Conference in Washington, D.C., from March 11-13, 2013.
  • Leah Lidbury (Reading Study Center) attended the Integrating Instructional Technology: Smart Board I & II in Oshkosh, WI, Jan. 18, 2013 and Feb. 4, 2013.
  • Kelly Schill (Grants & Faculty Development) will attend the IACUC Conference Research Animal Oversight in Baltimore, Maryland, March 18-19, 2013.
  • Crystal Mueller (English) will attend the Dartmouth Summer Seminar for Composition Research: “Data-Driven Inquiry: Process, Methods, Results” in Hanover, New Hampshire from July 28 – Aug. 9, 2013.

The following faculty member has received support through the Faculty Development Program Off-Campus Component:

  • Robert Sipes (Kinesiology) attended the Athletic Training Educator’s Conference, Jan. 11-13, 20123 in Dallas, Texas.

UW Oshkosh received $10,365 from UW System for Science Futures: Developing Teacher Leaders. Eric Brunsell (Curriculum and Instruction) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $12,414 from the Japan Foundation for Oshkosh Taiko Initiative. Yoshiro Hanai (Foreign Languages and Literature) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $46,815 from Wisconsin Division of Quality Assurance for Caregiver Fee for Service. Renee Rickert (Center for Career Development and Training) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $126,900 from Winnebago County for Living Healthy Clinic. Leona Whitman (Nursing) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $18,0o0 from the Dreyfus Foundation for A Distributed Undergraduate Research Program to Explore Electrochemistry and Catalysis in the Context of Solar Energy Conversion. Jennifer Schuttlefield (Chemistry) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $2,800 from Primate Conservation, Inc. for The Behavioral Ecology and Conservation of Miller’s Grizzled Langur in the Wehea Forest, East Kalimantan. Stephanie Spehar (Anthropology) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $104,160 from Wisconsin Department of Health Services for Learning Management System Services (PATHLORE). Kim Stuyvenberg (Center for Career Development and Training) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $63,000 from Winnebago County Department of Human Services for Truancy Intervention Program. Kim Stuyvenberg (Center for Career Development and Training) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $9,828 from Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for Collaborative Vision: Promoting Inclusive Education K-16. Stacey Skoning (Special Education) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $26,870 from the Small Business Association for Wisconsin Small Business Development Center. Colleen Merrill is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received an additional $13,500 from U.S. Geological Survey for Beach Sanitary Survey. Total award received since 2010 is $45,500. Greg Kleinheinz (Biology) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $47,000 from Vilas County Public Health Department for Transient Non-community Well Testing. Greg Kleinheinz is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $4,849 from Federal Bureau of Traffic Safety for Wisconsin Booze and Belts Mobilization. Joseph LeMire (University Police) is the project director.
