More than 150 University of Wisconsin students, faculty and staff participated in the fourth-annual Diversity & Leadership Conference Nov. 7 in Reeve Memorial Union. The day included a large group presentation titled “Strengthening Our Cultural IQ,” lunch, live entertainment by Wade Fernandez, a keynote address by Brian Johnson about “Reel Diversity” and 15 educational sessions.

The event was sponsored with a grant by Target and by campus offices, departments and organizations, including the Center for New Learning, College of Education and Human Services, College of Nursing, Counseling Center, Dean of Students, Hmong Student Union, Integrated Marketing and Communications, Multicultural Education Coalition, Polk Library, Provost’s Office, Reeve Union Board, Residence Life, Student Leadership and Involvement Center, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, and the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center.
