The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites all area children to attend its upcoming football game against UW-Eau Claire at 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium, 450 Josslyn Ave.

The Titans will host NCAA Football’s 15th-annual “Take A Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program, presented by Coca-Cola and sponsored by corporate champions AT&T and Pontiac. Kids 12 and younger will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket.

UW Oshkosh is one of more than 200 schools across the nation hosting a game in this campaign focused on giving youth the chance to attend college football games.

“This game day experience is an opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship that can be demonstrated on the playing field,” said Allen Ackerman, athletic director at UW Oshkosh.

The athletic department also will host a Halloween costume contest for all in attendance.  The winners will receive savings bonds of $100, $50 and $25, compliments of the UW Oshkosh Credit Union.
