Jason Kobishop, a Reeve Memorial Union student graphic artist, was awarded first place in the “Best Original – Motion Content” category by the Visix Expression Awards for his work on CampusVision, after securing all three nominations in that category.

Visix, the company behind the AxisTV technology that runs CampusVision, also nominated Kobishop for “Best Composite Layout” and “Best Remix Motion Content.” Additionally, he received honorable mention for “Best Visual Communications Campaign” and “Best Remix – Motion Content.”

This national-level competition drew more than 100 entries from clients ranging from professional designers, human resource assistants, administrators and students.

Schools from around the country were recognized, including Cornell University, Boise State and Ohio State.

Kobishop was a top-three finalist in three of six categories and matched the company’s definition of a winning entry for setting clear objectives for the communication; showing an understanding of the audience; using clever, appealing design and clearly communicating the message.

Kobishop received a $100 American Express gift card and personalized, mounted award.
