Teachers from throughout the region learn and share best practices in writing, during the Fox Valley Writing Project’s Invitational Summer Institute at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

The June 15-July 10 institute, offered to pre-kindergarten through secondary-education teachers, included writing exercises, teaching demonstrations, research, a writing marathon and guest writer sessions.

Since 1986, the Fox Valley Writing Project has brought together teachers from UW Oshkosh’s College of Education and Human Services and area school districts to share strategies for teaching writing and improving personal writing skills.
