Economics Professor Emeritus passes away

I took a few classes from Professor Mitchell, decades ago, although it seems like yesterday. Mostly, I remember his humor, particularly his personal experiences. My favorite was when his family received notice from the federal government in 1945, canceling its order for steers to feed the troops, wherein the government suggested that they retain the steers for breeding purposes. (LOL) An entertaining and very sincere man. He’ll be missed.
