Thursday, May 3 marks this year’s annual Bye Gosh Fest, sponsored by Reeve Union Board (RUB).  The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the field outside the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. Admission is free to all UW Oshkosh students.  The theme for Bye Gosh Fest 2012 is “Superheroes.”

The main attraction at Bye Gosh Fest 2012 is a concert featuring headliner All Time Low and local mid-west bands Take the Day, of Milwaukee, Love Out Loud, of Minneapolis, and the Oshkosh Battle of the Bands winner, Final Motive.

In addition to the music, students can participate in inflatable games, such as a bungee trampoline, tye-dye t-shirts, play lawn games, enjoy free cotton candy, popcorn and sno-cones, get their faces painted, have a balloon animal made, and have a caricature drawing done.

Food will be provided by Sodexo (all meal plans, Titan Dollars and cash ($7) are accepted). The menu will include Kryptonite Burgers, Super “Heros” Sub Sandwiches, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Veggie Artichoke Dip and Pita Triangles, a variety of sides and superhero themed deserts.
