Playing football for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh was in the genes for fourth-generation Titan Dustin McAloon, who will be among the seniors recognized Saturday at the Russ Young Leadership and Achievement Award Banquet.
McAloon’s football family includes his father, Hugh McAloon ’83, of Iola; grandfather, William McAloon ’65, of Oshkosh; and great-grandfather, the late Hugo Radkey ’32.
The McAloons team up to share their favorite memories as well as their toughest moments from their days playing Titan football in this video.
At the banquet, sponsored by the Titan Touchdown Club, UWO alumnus Jim Miazga ’74, of Rhinelander, will be honored with the Russ Young Leadership and Achievement Award. Guest speaker at the event will be former Green Bay Packer William Henderson; and WFRV TV 5’s sports anchor Burke Griffin will serve as master of ceremony.
