The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Integrated Marketing and Communications department was recognized by its marketing industry peers with three ADDY awards, sponsored by the Fox River AdClub. Additionally, UW Oshkosh students participating in the 2008 National Student Advertising Campaign (NSAC) received a gold student award for its Plans Book.

“This recognition acknowledges the creative and strategic efforts the University has taken toward a more integrated approach of UW Oshkosh’s brand and image,” said Jeanette DeDiemar, executive director of Integrated Marketing and Communications. “The ADDYs are a well-recognized award in the marketing and communications industry; we are thrilled to receive these honors.”

The awards included a silver award for UW Oshkosh Today (www.uwosh.edu/news), a silver award for the admissions viewbook and a gold award for the UW Oshkosh Foundation new academic building (pride.purpose.promise) brochure. The campaign brochure will automatically advance to the District 8 ADDY competition.

UW Oshkosh Today previously was recognized by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education Region IV with a silver award for Best Web Site/Individual Page or Section.

The ADDYs are sponsored by the Fox River AdClub. The AdClub, affiliated with the American Advertising Federation, is a non-profit professional trade association serving Northeast Wisconsin’s advertising and marketing communications community including agencies, advertisers, the media, vendors and students.
