University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni and students will have the opportunity to interact with a panel of human resource experts during the second webinar in the three-part “Building your Professional Development Portfolio” series Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.

The free series is sponsored by the UW Oshkosh Alumni Relations Office in partnership with Career Services.

Webinar participants can gather information, interact live with the campus community and get immediate responses to pressing questions. Career Services director Jaime Page-Stadler will facilitate the event.

“We understand that the job market is a challenging place these days, so we want to offer our alumni and students opportunities to build their job-seeking skills,” Gantner said. “The webinars are an additional service especially designed for alumni who may not be able to physically visit the campus. We are pleased to be able to meet that need.”

UW Oshkosh alumnus Andrew Ingebrigtson ’11, a technical recruiter with IMPACT Engineering Solutions in Brookfield, will be among the panelists. He is responsible for finding job candidates through social media, job boards, applications and networking with and interviewing candidates before submitting them to clients in the Milwaukee area.

As an alum and member of the UW Oshkosh Mentor Network on LinkedIn, Ingebrigtson is committed to giving back to the campus community.

Mark your calendars also for the final webinar in the series, UW Oshkosh LinkedIn Groups/Mentor Network, scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2012, 6-7 p.m.
