This year, shopping for holiday gifts and giving to the University have never been easier.

The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) Alumni Association Chapter will host its second-annual silent auction 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Dean’s suite in Nursing Education room 113.

“The Alumni Association Chapter is very active in parades, Homecoming, the Dragon Boat Races and Festival, and our annual silent auction,” said Janice Stark, advancement officer for COEHS. “It’s helping alumni to remain as active as possible in the campus community.”

Among the items to be auctioned are gift baskets, gift certificates, UW Oshkosh and COEHS attire, cookbooks and more. All proceeds of the silent auction will be applied toward student scholarships given by the college in April.

“The Alumni Association Chapter is so valuable in that its members constantly go out of their way to do numerous things like this for our students,” Stark said.

The COEHS Alumni Association Chapter was established in 2006 to help build and maintain relationships with alumni and to serve as a link between current students, alumni and the College of Education and Human Services.
