The following faculty members have received support through the Faculty Development Program:

Off-Campus Component:

  • Nadia Louar (Foreign Lang/Lit) will attend Gate Theatre of Dublin, Oct. 27-30, 2011 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  • Mark Bowen (Geography) will attend the Beginning a Research Program in the Natural Sciences at a Predominately Undergraduate Institution Workshop, Nov. 18-20, 2011 in Holland, Michigan.

Academic Staff Component:

  • Michele Schlinsog (UARC) attended Career Development Facilitator Training in Madison, Wisconsin, Sept. 13, 2011.

UW Oshkosh received $213,180 from the US Department of Education for year five of the Ronald E. Mcnair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program. This brings the total awarded to this project to $1,093,180. Mary Seaman (Biology/Microbiology) is the project director.

UW Oshkosh received $385,635 from the U.S. Department of Education for year two of Student Support Services Program. This brings the total awarded for this project to $783,607. Nancy Harrison (Student Support Services) is the project director.

The Wisconsin College Personnel Association selected Ellie Maslowski (Dean of Students Office) as the recipient of the 2011 Support Staff Recognition Award.
