The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Order of Omega has recently received a Chapter Programming Grant that will allow it to bring in a brand new program called Cultivating Team Synergy.
Order of Omega is a National Honorary Society whose main purpose is to recognize outstanding Greek leaders in order to better the Greek community and aid in its excellence of leadership, scholarship and service.
Cultivating Team Synergy is a teamwork seminar aimed at student groups and organizations along with athletic teams. Anthony D’Angelo will be speaking during this seminar and is known as the man who sparked a revolution in higher education. He is currently the Chief Visionary Officer of Collegiate EmPowerment and was hailed by CNN as, “The Personal Development Guru Of His Generation.” Every year, Order of Omega tries to bring in an educational speaker or program that benefits the UW Oshkosh campus.
“As the VP of Programming, I was excited to have the opportunity to bring another speaker to campus that I thought would benefit several different organizations,” Vice President of programming for Order of Omega Jo King said. “We would not have been able to have this speaker and this opportunity if it had not been for the grant, and we think Anthony D’Angelo will definitely present a show for his audience.”
Members of Order of Omega comprise of the top 3 percent of the Greek community at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The Omicron Kappa Chapter has been at UW Oshkosh since 1996.
