The idea is both simple and powerful: Gather an audience of hundreds of people, including students, community members, elected leaders, law enforcement officers, representatives of support services agencies and, most importantly, survivors, and refuse to let the silence that often envelops abuse and assault continue.

On Oct. 5, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh once again played host to Fox Valley Take Back The Night’s rally, march and, new this year, special Gail Floether Steinhilber Gallery exhibit of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors’ art, “Never Silent.”
