Parking permits for Reserved Lot No. 4 (the old Woodland Avenue, located between Elmwood Avenue and Algoma Boulevard) are now being sold to faculty and staff. They will be offered on a first come, first served basis and a wait list will be established if needed.
The cost for the parking spots is $350 a year or a pro-rated additional cost if you already have a faculty/staff permit for 2008-09. The cost will come out of pre-tax dollars if you choose to have the cost payroll deducted.
The reserved permit will allow you to park in any of the approximately 65 spaces designated as reserved parking in Lot No. 4. The remaining spaces in Lot #4 will be for Children’s Learning and Day Care Center drop off and for vehicles with disabled parking permits. Your reserved permit will also be valid in any of the regular faculty/staff lots on campus.
Lot No. 4 will remain a reserved lot between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. From 5 p.m.-midnight, any Reserved, Faculty/Staff, Commuter Student or Visitor permit will be valid. The lot will close from midnight to 6 a.m. From 5 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday the normal weekend “open parking” policy will apply.
Weather cooperating, Lot No. 4 should open by mid-October.
Reserved parking spots are also still available in the High Avenue Parking Ramp.
