“Connections,” performances featuring music by composers connected to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, will take place Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at the UW Oshkosh Music Hall.

UW Oshkosh music faculty members Ed Martin and Marty Robinson, alumni David Gillingham and Larry Daehn, and area Wisconsin composers John Harmon, Charles Rochester Young, John Salerno, Pierre LaPlante and Michael Sweeney will be performing at these events.

Admission into the event is free to all UW Oshkosh students with their Titan I.D., $5 for the general public, $3 for non-UW Oshkosh students, and $1 for children 12 and under.

  • On May 6, the UWO Symphonic Band and Chamber Groups will be performing at 7:30 p.m. This performance is to be conducted by Rob McWilliams, and it will take place at the UWO Music Hall, located in the Arts and Communication building.
  • On May 7, the UWO Wind Ensemble will be performing at 3 p.m., with McWilliams and UWO student Anna Lussier conducting.
