TitanWell
is a group of student volunteers with one main goal: promoting healthy choices
during college & beyond. While that sounds a bit plain, the volunteers
& the program do a lot for the campus, students & local community.
TitanWell, formed in the 2001-2002 academic year, has made their place on
campus with a button campaign, catchy health slogans that change each month
& three annual charity tournaments. These were added with the shift
of the Peer Resource Organization to the Student Health Center.
As wellness education moves to the future the volunteers are committed to
making change on campus. These changes are in the form of a traveling booth,
button campaign, international boards in the residence halls & a monthly
newsletter called Titan Toilet Talk, which is located in residence hall
bathrooms |
