UW Oshkosh Testing Services Supports:
PRAXIS (PPST) II Subject Exam:
General Information: The PPST II Subject Assessments is designed to measure
your content knowledge of the subject you will teach. The tests may be multiple choice or a combination of multiple choice and
constructed response.
Test Dates: The PRAXIS II tests are administered six times a year on Saturday in a paper and pencil
format. The tests are in September, November, January, March, April, and June. Check the PRAXIS web site or PRAXIS registration
bulletin for exact test dates.
Registration Information: Call (920) 424-1432 to request a registration bulletin. Registration forms must
be mailed in to the PRAXIS program by the appropriate deadline. Registration can also be done on-line at
www.ets.org/praxis by the appropriate deadline.
Cost: The cost for a PRAXIS II test ranges from $60-$115 depending on the test taken. In addition, there
is a $40 registration fee per test date.
ID Requirement: A current government issued photo, signature bearing ID is required along with your
admission ticket.
Length of Test: Subject Assessments range from one hour to four hours depending on the test.

Study Materials: Study Guides are available at reference sections of larger bookstores and at UW Oshkosh,
University Books and More. UW Oshkosh students can find books on reserve in the EMC of Polk Library or for two week check-out through the Reading Study Center.
