Recyclemania 2008
Every spring there is a national program known as Recyclemania, which encourages campuses to recycle more and publishes information about who is doing what.
UW Oshkosh participated in RecyleMania 2008, and came out on top in Wisconsin!
RecycleMania is a national competition from January 27 to April 5. Participating campuses across the country try to recycle as much as possible over the 10 week period. During the competition, UW Oshkosh recycled 22.68 pounds of garbage per person on campus (students, staff, and faculty). This put us in the top 25% in the country, and the number one university in Wisconsin.
