Other / Special Student (Visitor, non-degree seeking)
Undergraduate
If you’re a non-degree seeking student wanting undergraduate courses, you must submit a Special Student application for admission. There is no application fee for a special student.
If you’re 60 years of age or older, you may audit classes for free on a space available basis. Tuition fees are waived only if you register as a
60+ auditor. Choose the 60 or older fee exemption box on your registration form.
If you're under 60 years of age, you may also audit classes.
Your tuition is at a discounted rate as an auditor if all your credits are audit. Use the same
Special Student application (see above). Auditors must pick up an add card from the Registrar's Office, have it signed by the
professor indicating audit, and return it to the Registrar's Office.
Instead of a grade, you will receive an "AU" on your transcript.
Call the UW Oshkosh undergrad admissions office at
(920) 424-3164.
Or, apply online. Make sure to use the Special Student application.
