Psychological Factors
Description
Wellbeing is not just about a healthy body - it is critical to maintain a healthy and active mind as well. There are many psychological factors that contribute to an individual's state of health, and maintaining perspective and balance is critical to ongoing mental wellbeing. This program features street interviews and commentary from three experts - psychotherapist and counselor Simone Lee, social worker Ben Hoskins and Julia Twigg, professor of social policy and sociology at the University of Kent. They provide an informative coverage of key areas that contribute to our mental wellbeing - self-concept, self-esteem, relationship with family and stress.
